Primary Roles & Responsibilities

• Familiarity with standard cloud native application architecture.

• Build data systems and pipelines which are modular, re-usable and scalable, which combine raw information from different sources.

• Analyze and organize raw data based on business needs and objectives. Identify and report gaps or discrepancies.

• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers and app users.

• Awareness of IT fundamentals, design principles and coding best practices.

• The metrics to consider when making a design.

• Familiarity with Azure core data services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and Azure Blob Storage.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration.

• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage for big data analytics.

• Experience with Apache Spark using Azure Databricks, including PySpark for processing large datasets.

• Understanding of workflow orchestration tools.

• Good SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases.
