Job Summary

We are looking for an Application Engineer with an AI-first development mindset and strong full-stack engineering experience. The ideal candidate should actively use AI-assisted IDE tools in daily development workflows and have expertise in building scalable applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.

This role involves developing AI-powered workflows, MCP servers, REST APIs, and modern full-stack applications while working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using AI-assisted development workflows.

• Build full-stack applications using React/Next.js and NestJS.

• Develop MCP servers and agent-based workflows.

• Design and implement secure REST APIs.

• Maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and estimation.

• Support production hotfixes and on-call activities.

Required Skills

• Daily, active use of AI-assisted IDE tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, etc.)

• Understanding of scripted automation vs. reasoning-based agent workflows

• Ability to explain model selection and LLM decision-making

• Experience with Vibe Code / Context Engineering workflows

• React + TypeScript (Next.js preferred)

• REST API design and implementation

• NestJS familiarity

• Git proficiency with trunk-based development

• MCP protocol understanding and MCP server authoring

Strongly Preferred:

• Azure services (ACI, ACR, Key Vault, AD B2C)

• CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps preferred)

• Docker and containerized deployments

• Agile fluency (Fibonacci estimation, epic → story breakdowns)

• OpenAPI / Swagger

• Unit and E2E testing (Playwright preferred)

Nice-to-Have:

• n8n or workflow automation tools

• .NET 8 / C# backend

• IaC: Bicep, Terraform

• Cloudflare, Redis, SendGrid

• Consulting or client-facing background
