Role Overview

We are looking for a Snowflake AI-focused professional with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake’s AI capabilities. The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with Snowflake Cortex, Semantic Views, Snowflake Agents, and Cortex Analyst.

The role primarily focuses on Snowflake AI capabilities, SQL, data modeling, and query optimization. Traditional Machine Learning expertise is not a mandatory requirement for this position.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

• Work extensively with Snowflake AI capabilities, particularly Snowflake Cortex and related features.

• Develop and work with Semantic Views to support analytics and AI-driven use cases.

• Build and implement Snowflake Agents for enterprise AI use cases.

• Work with Cortex Analyst for natural-language-based data analytics and insights.

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.

• Design and maintain effective data models aligned with business and analytical requirements.

• Perform Snowflake query optimization and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Snowflake-based solutions

• Bring 5+ years of AI/ML or data engineering experience, hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex (or similar LLM/RAG frameworks), strong SQL skills, and familiarity with prompt engineering and semantic modeling

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake AI.

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex.

• Experience with Semantic Views.

• Experience with Snowflake Agents.

• Experience with Cortex Analyst.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Strong understanding of Data Modeling.

• Good hands-on experience with Snowflake Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.

Good to Have

• Experience with Snowpark.

• Exposure to Machine Learning concepts and use cases.

• Experience with broader Snowflake data engineering capabilities

Important Note

Snowpark and Machine Learning are not mandatory for this role. Candidates should primarily have relevant hands-on experience with Snowflake AI capabilities and strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and Snowflake performance optimization.
