Primary Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes on the Databricks platform. 
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to understand requirements, data structures, and ETL workflows. 
- Identify, document, and track defects; support the troubleshooting and resolution of data-related issues. 
- Implement and maintain automated testing strategies to improve testing efficiency and coverage. 
- Conduct performance testing to ensure the scalability and reliability of data pipelines. 
- Provide insights on improvements to ETL processes based on testing results and promote best practices in data quality. 
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to discussions on database architecture and data modeling. 
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineering and quality assurance. 
- Proven experience in QA testing, with a strong emphasis on ETL testing. 
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and related technologies. 
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data warehousing concepts. 
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for ETL testing. 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
- Excellent communication and collaboration skill
